What is Your Favorite Thing About Being a Stylist:
“Discovering the needs and wants of every client-I believe everyone has the potential to look great, and I help clients to become aware of the best-for-them hairstyle and color options that they may have never considered. Reinventing people’s hair, and the instant gratification that comes from the end result of my work is my favorite thing.”

What is something unique that you would like the clients to know about you?
“I am always honest and straightforward about recommendations for your best look.”

What is your favorite tip/hair secret you would like to share with clients?

I was Neetu's and David's assistant for many years. I was in the apprenticeship program at Jon David Salon. I have also gone to hair shows in different states to extend my knowledge on hair.

Stylist Level:

What is Your Favorite Thing About Being a Stylist:
I love to transform my clients and make them feel confident and beautiful.

What is something unique that you would like the clients to know about you?
I started working at the salon as a shampoo assistant and I have worked very hard to become a stylist. I like to listen to my clients to give them the outcome they are looking for.

What is your favorite tip/hair secret you would like to share with clients?

When curling your hair, section your hair. You will be able to work more efficiently. Most importantly, do not use too much product prior to using gear or else your curls will become flat.

Glynnis R.

Training/Years of Experience/Special Certification:
Started in the hair industry in 1997. I am a Senior Cosmetologist, and also have over six years of training as a color educator.

Stylist Level:
Master

What is Your Favorite Thing About being a Stylist:
“Knowing that each client that sits in my chair has a different personality, hair texture and facial shape than the client before. Having the ability to personalize the color, style or cut to compliment a client is an amazing experience. I love the total transformation process! There is a line from a movie that has always stayed with me-‘Hair is an accessory and you have the ability to change it.’”

What is something unique that you would like the clients to know about you?
“Fall is my favorite time of the year because of the beautiful foliage, and I LOVE watching the NFL!!!!”

What is your favorite tip/hair secret you would like to share with clients?
“To have tousled/wavy hair, apply a small amount of Redken's “Glass” to partially dry hair. Braid your hair. The size and the number of braids will determine how wavy your hair will be. Once your hair is dry, loosen the braids and comb/rake your fingers through your hair. Let the hair naturally fall. For an evening look, pull hair to one side.”

When drying curly hair, first comb your hair out with a large tooth comb, then apply product from scalp to ends, tip head upside down and use a diffuser to prevent frizz.
